NAIROBI IS A JUNGLE EP

The Nairobi is a jungle sounds are inspired by Jungle genre which dominated our early childhood days of cartoon network like Powerpuff of girls and play station theme songs.

In the journey of defining Nairobi Bounce, I experimented with samples, Foley sounds, textures using Nairobi City as my template. The Eight track project reflect experiences I went through over the course of last year and earlier years. I featured tracks from Fadhili Williams, Rvssian, MDQ, Mayonde, Polaris and Internet inspirations.

The project was inspired by how life is not easy to navigate, instead the our resilience is what makes us over the hardships. I took my laptop to a sherlock so I could pay my rent, which I couldn't make the deadline to pay the money back so it was sold to someone else. All my projects were lost this was early in 2023.

I made the project through borrowing my sister's laptop(Thank God for such blessings)The project didn't go to any Studio session as I created it using generic earphones, internet samples and me trying to be creative.
You dont need so much to create an idea and make it to the final product.

All you need is God and trusting his process.
